After forty years in the tourism industry, and having stayed at top hotels and resorts around the world, I can honestly say I have at last found affordable five star luxury accommodation right on our doorstep. ‘Kalldeen’ is simply beautiful, the location is convenient to both Napier and Hastings as well as fantastic sightseeing opportunities. We had a ball!
The accommodation offered is pure de-luxe with every amenity provided. We stayed in the Mohaka Suite and there were lots of nice touches that made our stay so special. The room was luxurious with a really comfortable bed and extra large bathroom with double shower as well as a kitchenette.
Our hosts, Wayne and Lynn were so hospitable and welcoming and looked after our every need. We were lucky enough to dine at ‘Kalldeen’ and the food prepared by Lynn was outstanding.
The grounds were beautifully maintained with a stunning in-ground pool and entertaining areas.
It was lovely to wake in the morning, pull the curtains and look out at the sheep grazing only metres away.
We can highly recommend ‘Kalldeen’, even to the most discerning of travellers.
